PESTICIDE CONSULTATION REVIEW UPDATE

Because of the frosts we have recently suffered, which reduced the aphid count, it is now low enough for the pesticide not to be used in 2021. This has just been confirmed by the Government. However, that still leaves 2022 and 2023 when the derogation might rear its ugly head again.

PESTICIDE CONSULTATION REVIEW

BBKA has been made aware that there is a consultation which closes on 26th February 2021 for use in the Draft National Plan, this consultation is titled Sustainable use of Pesticides.  Click on link below to complete.

The Trustees on behalf of the Associations are requesting that each member acts in support of the proposition and
helps to pressure the Government to withdraw this derogation by writing to their MP. You can find the contact details for your MP by using the link and entering your post code.
